Integrated Regional Framework (IRF)

Refers to the new regional arrangements in place from 1st April 2009 whereby the Regional Assembly ceased to operate, with its responsibilities assumed by the Regional Development Agency and Local Government in Yorkshire and Humber. The Regional Development Agency is responsible for production of the new single integrated Regional Strategy, upon which work has started. The integrated Regional Strategy will replace the existing Regional Spatial Strategy, Regional Economic Strategy and Regional Housing Strategy.
